Why, hello there! Nice to meet you! My name is Aminah and I’m a first-generation lower income student from Los Angeles, California. I am the daughter of two Nigerian immigrants, and have a large family with four other siblings.

Here on campus, I am currently a Neuroscience concentrator, but I plan to explore other concentrations including Sociology and Psychology. I hope to get certificates in Creative Writing, Applications of Computing and Near Eastern Studies or African American Studies. Extracurricular wise, I am a member of Club Tennis, the Muslim Student Association (MSA), the Princeton African Student Association (PASA), and the Scholars Institute Fellows Program (SIFP). I also write poetry with Songline Slam and call First College my home!

I enjoy crocheting Princeton-themed clothes, going for walks with my friends, watching anime and admiring the greenery on Princeton’s beautiful campus. As a proud Questbridge Match Scholar and Thrive Scholar, I’d be more than happy to answer your questions about student life. Please reach out, I want to hear from you!
