Class Year: 2025 Major: Prospective French/ Public Policy (Princeton School of Public and International Affairs) Hometown: Port-au-Prince, Haiti Pronouns: he/him/his

Hey everyone, my name is Gil and I am an international student from Port-au-Prince, Haiti! I am a prospective French & Public Policy (School of Public and International Affairs) or Sociology concentrator. I am also considering getting certificates in Spanish and Creative Writing.

On campus, I am involved in a wide range of clubs and activities: I am an elected Officer for the Class of 2025, a Middle-Blocker for Men’s Club Volleyball, a board member for the African Student Association (PASA) and a contributor for The Nassau Weekly. I am also a proud resident of Forbes College (arguably the best residential college!). I also work at Campus Recreation. I really enjoy cycling around campus, cooking with friends, and getting Boba on Nassau Street.

So far I absolutely love Princeton! I look forward to taking you with me on this journey, that of an international student from a very tropical country to the (cold) East Coast of the United States. Don't hesitate to reach out to me about anything: I'd love to help you find out why Princeton is the best place for you!
