Why, hello there! Nice to meet you! My name is Aminah and I’m a first-generation lower-income student from Los Angeles, California. I am the daughter of two Nigerian immigrants and the second oldest of five siblings. I applied to Princeton with an interest in Neuroscience , but I am now deciding to go with Computer Science - A.B. I am also interested in getting some certificates, particularly in Creative WritingTechnology and SocietyVisual ArtsApplications of Computing or African American Studies. Extracurricular activity-wise, I am a member of the Muslim Student Association (MSA), the Princeton African Student Association (PASA) and the Scholars Institute Fellows Program (SIFP). I also style outfits for TigerTrends, write poetry with Songline Slam, and play the cymbals for the Princeton University BandNew College West is my home!  I enjoy crocheting clothes, going for walks with my friends, watching YouTube and admiring the greenery on Princeton’s beautiful campus. As a proud Questbridge Match Scholar and Thrive Scholar, I’d be more than happy to answer your questions about student life. Please reach out, I'd love to hear from you!
