COVID-19 Update
The Princeton University Office of Undergraduate Admission continues to assess the effects the pandemic has had on teaching and learning in secondary schools around the world — particularly the inconsistencies created in classrooms due to the uncertainty of in-person instruction. As a result, we will continue to operate in a test optional environment for first-year applicants applying during the 2022-23 cycle for Princeton’s Class of 2027.

Faculty Approve Academic Minors at Princeton
Princeton University students will be able to pursue minor courses of study outside of their primary discipline beginning in fall 2023. At present, Princeton offers 54 interdisciplinary undergraduate certificate programs that function, in practice, as minors. Princeton also offers 36 concentrations for major studies.

Princeton Class of 2022 Celebrates Commencement
The power of persistence was celebrated as a hallmark of the Class of 2022 on Tuesday, May 24, at Princeton’s 275th Commencement. The University awarded 1,234 undergraduate degrees and 655 graduate degrees during the ceremony on a cool spring morning in Princeton Stadium.

Princeton seniors Shaun Cason and Anna Allport and University of Oxford student Isabelle (Izzy) Stuart have been named recipients of the Daniel M. Sachs Class of 1960 Graduating Scholarship, one of Princeton University’s highest awards.
Seniors Awarded ReachOut Fellowship for Public Service
Four Princeton University seniors have been awarded a fellowship from ReachOut 56-81-06, an alumni-funded effort that supports year-long public service projects after graduation. Their projects focus on strengthening New York City’s preparedness initiatives in response to climate change, recording oral histories of Chilean refugee communities, and documenting sustainable farming practices in the Philippines.
