Happy International Education Week! We’re excited to spotlight some of our incredible @princetondavisic International Center leaders on our #TigerTales blog this week. Up first is Yujin Angolio ’23, an international student from Nairobi, Kenya and a Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering concentrator. ⠀ ⠀ Yujin writes about making #PrincetonU her home away from home and shares some advice for her younger self, writing “as the days roll by, and you feel like life is slowly taking a toll on you, remember to pause and do those very things you think you are ‘too busy’ for.

Our celebration of International Education Week continues with a new #TigerTales blog post! Seyi Jung ’24 (left) shares her experience making connections through the Davis International Center (@princetondavisic). ⠀ ⠀ Seyi writes “so, when I first set foot on campus, I was actually at a loss. The campus seemed big, I was alone and I didn’t know who I could ask for help. It felt as if I shouldn’t ask for help. I was a sophomore, after all, not a first-year.

We’re concluding our celebration of International Education Week with a final #TigerTales blog post from @princetondavisic leader Antek Hasiura ’24!⠀ ⠀⠀ Antek shares “coming from Poland, I didn’t know if my academic preparation was enough to thrive in a Princeton classroom and whether I’d fit well in the American college social life. As these thoughts began to fill my mind when I entered the walls of the beautiful Princeton campus, I remembered a piece of advice that has helped me succeed throughout my life: don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Last night was 🔥⠀ ⠀ The bonfire is one of our favorite traditions here at Princeton. When the @princetonftbl team has the best record in a single season among the Big Three — Harvard, Yale and Princeton, we celebrate by creating a HUGE bonfire in the center of Cannon Green. Students and community members gather for a night of celebration and Tiger pride!⠀ ⠀ A huge thank you goes out to @princeton_odus who organize this incredible event and to the Princeton Fire Department, Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad (PFARS), and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service for keeping everyone safe!
