In honor of #VeteransDay, U.S. Marine Corps veteran Sarah Payne '25 shares how the organization Service to School helped her apply to #PrincetonU. Sarah is originally from Higginsville, Missouri, and decided to join the military at age 18. She joined the @marines specifically because her dad was a Marine. Sarah was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, where she played the flute with the 1st Marine Division Band.

Kaller is president of both @princeton_veterans and the @ivyleagueveterans. Before coming to Princeton, he served in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman with the 10th Mountain Division and deployed to Iraq as a Fire-Team Leader.

U.S. Marine Corps veteran and @MercerCollege transfer student Daniel Adomina '24 shares how his experience serving in the military helped him prepare for Princeton’s rigorous academic environment. ⠀

Daniel moved from Ghana, West Africa, to Hamilton, New Jersey, at age 15. After high school, he joined the Marines to give back to his new home country and take advantage of the opportunities the military offered to better oneself. Daniel enlisted for four years, with his first two years at the air station in Iwakuni, Japan, and his last year at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
