My name is Sam Fendler and I am a member of Princeton's Class of 2021. I came to campus in 2018 as a member of Princeton's inaugural transfer cohort. Before then, I served five years in the Marine Corps as an infantryman and spent two years studying at Penn State University following my honorable discharge. I am deeply involved in the student veteran community - I currently serve as President of both Princeton Student Veterans and The Ivy League Veterans Council (ILVC). ILVC is a non-profit that seeks to address under enrollment of veterans at elite academic institutions and provide student veterans with a high-powered network to carry into their personal and professional lives after graduation. I hope to leave a positive legacy at Princeton and to inspire fellow veterans to pursue an education at the best colleges our great country has to offer.
