Hi everyone! My name is Avery Danae Williams from North Brunswick, New Jersey. I am a junior in the African American Studies Department, minoring in Creative Writing and Gender & Sexuality Studies. I’m also a member of Forbes College, but now live in an upperclass dorm called Foulke Hall.
I spend a lot of time with the Pace Center for Civic Engagement, where I worked as a Community Action Fellow and most recently a Community Action Orientation Leader. I am also a member of the AAS Undergraduate Board of Advisors and the Princeton Presbyterians Undergraduate Leadership Team. Lastly, I work as the Communications & Events Officer for the Princeton University Neurodiversity Collective, and write for The Prospect (Arts & Culture) section of The Daily Princetonian.
When I’m not doing readings or writing papers, you can find me spending time with my friends, eating in the Rocky/Mathey dining hall, reading comics, and singing “The Rainbow Connection” by Kermit the Frog too many times in the shower.
I love writing myself into Princeton’s story, so if you ever have any questions about academic and social life, feel free to reach out to me. I am here for you!
