Avery Danae Williams '26

Class Year: 2026 Major: Cultural Anthropology Hometown: Jersey City, New Jersey Pronouns: she/her/hers

Hello, future Tigers! My name is Avery Danae Williams: a Black, neurodivergent sophomore and multi-published writer from Jersey City, New Jersey. I am also one of the biggest lovers of Forbes College you will ever meet! I'll be declaring a major in Cultural Anthropology with certificates in Creative Writing and Gender & Sexuality Studies next spring.

I spend most of my time with the Pace Center for Civic Engagement, as a member of Service Focus and a Community Action Fellow. Additionally, I worship with and serve on the undergraduate leadership team for Princeton Presbyterians, and amplify Black voices on campus in the Princeton Chapter of the Generational African American Students Association. Lastly, I write self-essays about pop culture and intersectional student life for The Prospect (arts & culture) section of The Daily Princetonian

I love writing myself into Princeton's story with my gifts, and I hope you do the same if you come here! Feel free to reach out if you want to talk or eat your way around Nassau Street.
