Jonathan Haynes
Major: Politics Hometown: Midland, Michigan

Hello everyone! My name is Jonathan, Class of 2020, and I am elated to be a part of the blogging team and provide some insight into my life here at Princeton University. I concentrate in Politics, specifically political theory, with certificates in the Program on Values and Public Life and Statistics and Machine Learning.

When I am not studying or working one of my part-time campus jobs, you can find me working on diplomatic projects with the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination or with the Black Student Union and larger Black Princeton community. I also have the pleasure of being involved with Breakout Princeton, an alternative break program through the Pace Center for Civic Engagement.

Fortunately through these programs and Princeton’s summer opportunities, I have been able to do one of my favorite activities: travel! If you have questions about diplomacy, cultural groups, Princeton travel or service on campus or anything at all please feel free to reach out to me at jh55@princeton.edu!
