David McElroy
Major: Undecided Hometown: Needham, Massachusetts

Hi there! My name is David and I'm from Needham, Massachusetts. I'm a member of the class of 2021, and for my concentration I'm trying to decide between Philosophy and Computer Science. I'm also interested in the Cognitive Science as well as the Creative Writing certificates. Before coming to Princeton, I participated in the Bridge Year program, through which I spent 9 months doing service in Salvador‚ Brazil. On campus, I sing in the Chapel Choir and work as editor-in-chief of Figments, Princeton's speculative fiction magazine. I also volunteer for CONTACT, a crisis and suicide hotline that serves all of Mercer County, and I'll start working as a Writing Center Fellow this fall. I'm really grateful for all the opportunities Princeton has offered me and I am excited to share my experiences with all of you!
