Hi! My name is Ava Adelaja, and I'm a proud member of Princeton's Class of 2027. I'm a first-generation Nigerian-American from the Washington D.C. suburbs with aspirations to be a playwright and poet after my undergraduate studies.
I hope to concentrate in Comparative Literature during my time at Princeton and am currently pursuing minors in Creative Writing and Theater. I often can be found frolicking around the Creative Writing department or stage-managing various theatrical productions across campus. Other than that, if I'm not busy at work in Firestone, you can catch me grabbing a vanilla latte from Coffee Club, chatting with friends in the RoMa dining hall, or reading on Cannon Green. I'm currently a Prose Reader for the Nassau Literary Review and I love anything to do with literature!
I love sharing my Princeton journey, so, if you ever want to chat about life at Princeton, feel free to reach out!
