My name is Jason, and I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. These past months I have been on the craziest trip of my life with Princeton’s Bridge Year in Bolivia. I am living in the small town of Tiquipaya outside of Cochabamba, learning Spanish, and volunteering at Fundación Abril where I work on water accessibility issues and community development.
I look back on my decision to do Bridge Year as one of my smartest choices yet. My time in Bolivia has widened my perspective and introduced me to some incredible people. I view my experience as the perfect prelude to my four years at Princeton. I hope to set a precedent of humility and service that will follow me to college and beyond.
